Viewfinder
To use, print the viewfinder on cardstock or heavy paper, then cut out the dark rectangle in the center.
Note: In the long run, your viewfinder should be
the same proportion as the canvas or paper your going to use. You
can find at most art stores a plastic viewfinder whose window is adjustable.
To use the viewfinder, hold it
at arms length and look through the window. Pull it toward you
and you'll get a wide-angle view; extending it forward gives a close-up
view. Hold it
horizontally, then vertically to decide which orientation you like
best. Then move the viewfinder back and for, side to side and up
and down until
you find the composition you like.
